Scriboodles

I've done nothing but play playstation look at some timetraveller lady video on the net and watch movies (Iron Giant, Final Fantasy (spirits within AND advent children),Kingpin, Magicians and the original Metropolis so i just go up off my fat ass and did some drawingz.

here's some development pics before i show the final (kind of final) product...

Here's the 1st one i did. the logos  and cation were something I added after I finished the last pic I'm about to show. 

Here's the layout and another rough sketch of the heroes. All done with a ballpoint pen.

 These 2 are pretty self explanatory. I actually prefer these kind of drawings to my finished product most of the time. Why is that?

And here's the final one, like i said, kind of. i'm gonna give it the full works. ink, colour. the whole photoshopery.

Now... back to watching Monster House.

2 Backgounds

What a slow day it's been. Have mostly been replanning how the game will play out so have beem doing lots of doodles with a pen and some paper. think i've got it all down now.

These seem to have taken me all day today and they still need a little polish.

More stuff!!

Couple a things to post today, one of them is just minor changes to the title screen, AGAIN! Made an option to make either start game selectable or to roll the credits which I actually have a use for now that my buddy Sy is making some toons for me!

I know NES games didn't feature loading screens but I couldn't help myself. Here's what will follow on from the title screen and eventually bring you to the interactivity itself.

This was the most fun thing ever. And im very pleased with the results! I'll be doing more of these no doubt. Kip and Yane!

Title change

Although I'm going for a quite lame sounding title I think 'space boxes' is a little too lame. I think this is slightly more fitting...

I took out some of the saturation from the red too. Felt it was a little too bright. 

On to the next bit now. This has already taken longer than it should've.

To get this blog thing rolling...

A few months ago I made a 'prototype' for an interactive video on youtoob. It's very basic but I was just seeing if the thing would work the way I hoped. Select a box, find the prize!

Right now I'm doing the polished version and after that I'm doing another one. Here's a sample...
